As long as I remember, I have been in love with all kinds of animals with a few exceptions - I do not like reptiles! Especially cats, dogs, horses etc. caught my attention. As a child, my parents did not allow animals into the house, until a night, in a freezing winter, where I brought home a little kitten. They did not regret their decision, to let me keep him, because I cared for him all by my self. When I left my parents home, he stayed, and lived for more than 16 years, all together. Today, I have finally achieved my dream. Now, I live in a nice house in the countryside along with my husband, children and wonderful dogs. Luckily everyone in the family is happy and content with this life style.
THE KENNEL I am the founder of our kennel. I spend most of my time with my dogs, absolutely, one of my favourite activities. When you have more dogs in the house, it requires a great deal of time in washing, drying and brushing. Quite often we put all of the dogs in the car, and of we go to the woods or to the beach. I think, it is very important, that they have the same opportunities like other family dogs. I want all of my dogs to get well-socialized in order for them to be happy and well-stimulated. It is my deepest conviction that the dogs have a profound need for a good life style in order for them to make happy and well functioning puppies. All dogs deserve a good, healthy and happy lifetime!
THE FAMILY I have a large family. I am married to Vagn, and all together we have 6 children. My eldest daughter, Camilla (22 years), lives in Italy. The eldest daughter of Vagn, Nanna (22 years) lives at Køge, Denmark. Then I have a daughter, Gioia, and a son, Tello. Vagn has also another daughter, Mulde, and a son, Kasper. All four are living with us and are helping out a lot. They often join my husband and me, when we attend the shows and they also handle the dogs. Having the dogs is a great passion for all of us, and I am very grateful towards my family for all their enthusiasm, help, love and support.
